Wuddup, I’m in Kosovo!!

Our journey of how we ended up here in the city of Junik was an adventure.

When my team was in Theth, Albania we met a guy on a hike who’s from Kosovo. Our conversation was very short, but we told him how we were going to Kosovo soon and he gave us his number and told us if we needed anything to reach out.

Fast forward to when we were nearing our time to go to Kosovo and praying for the Lord to show us where exactly he wanted us to go, we were reminded of this guy and reached out to him to see if he had any connections or knew of any things we could potentially get involved in. Turns out his mom is over an NGO and has opportunities we could help out with and invited us to come stay at her house during our time here.

We were able to get connected with a school here in town, sat down with the principal, and planned out how we could be involved. We’re able to help out in their English and PE classes and can hang out and chat with the students on their breaks. We are also planning Bible studies throughout the week to invite the high school students to outside of their school hours.

We’re able to freely talk about Jesus with them in the school which is HUGE. They have freedom of religion in Kosovo but 95% of the population is Muslim. We’ve had two interviews with two different national television stations about what we’re doing here and we’re able to freely talk about the love of Jesus.

HELLO?! We FREELY got to talk about the love of Jesus on NATIONAL TELEVISION of a country that’s 95% MUSLIM.

THANK YOU GOD.

(Here’s a link to one of the interviews in you wan to watch it: https://youtu.be/IM9qau0USiQ)

I’m baffled by the favor my team has been walking in and how God is opening crazy doors for us and giving us incredible connections.

God is stirring up something so beautiful and unique in the kingdom these days all over the world. He’s exposing so much darkness and bringing so many into the light and I’m forever humbled that he invites me into it.

be praying for the continued conversations we have with people here and that they would embrace the love Jesus has for them.

  2. This is amazing April. Not surprising, but truly shows the amazing love of our Father and his heart to bring people into the light. I love hearing the stories of how he is using you. National television to talk about Jesus! Twice! What???? God is on the move.

  3. If anything else happens (oh, and it will) that TV interview is the bomb! (Do they say that anymore?!) So, so proud of you all for what you are doing! Cannot believe that this is going on through your whole team, but you guys STEP OUT! Love you all and can’t wait to see you and see what is next!
